Although a person can ice fish without using ice skimmers, anybody who has experience ice fishing will agree that these skimmers certainly make ice fishing easier and more enjoyable?

• Ease of use – As is true with most things, the cheapest ice skimmers are not necessarily the same skimmers that are most effective.
